Nail polish
This is the whitest nail polish. There are other whites, but this is the best.
Copy paper
Ignore the names and look at the brightness rating - 100. Anything less is almost white. Texture, size, and thickness is up to you. I like letter, A4, and A3. Personally I think A4 is classier than letter, but it depends on where you are.
Interior paint
Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace OC-65 - the color of my old NY apartment (above).
“A neutral white with almost no undertones: with a light reflectance value of 92, Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore is one of the closest paint colors you’ll find to a true, pure white”.
It’s a bright open art gallery white that’s fresh and warm vs. sad office space or hospital white.
Lighting
Aim for between 3500-5000K - referred to as “neutral” or “cool” - but again, ignore the names and check the numbers. I like my main light on the warmer side (4000K) so it’s not completely sterile, but still white enough for accurate colors. Then get a bunch of lamps, different bulbs, and candles to warm up the space.
T-shirts
These old man 100% cotton t-shirts/undershirts are the best! My dad and I used to collect them in Taiwan and Singapore. You can usually find them in a Chinatown. I think these are two main brands - Chrysanthemum and Pagoda Garuda.
